Quality Engineer
Job Title: Quality EngineerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to drive continuous improvement activities and enhance manufacturing processes. The role involves ensuring that manufacturing processes meet engineering requirements through capability studies and gauge R&R analysis. You will be instrumental in resolving quality issues using quality tools and continuous improvement methods. Responsibilities + Provide daily support to manufacturing value streams, including audits and analysis to maintain quality standards. + Coordinate supplier corrective actions, document supplier issues, and work with procurement engineers to resolve problems. + Support new product introduction and implementation. + Conduct capability studies and gauge R&R analysis to ensure manufacturing processes meet engineering requirements. Essential Skills + Quality engineering + PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) + Root cause analysis + Quality management + APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) + Corrective action plans + Lean manufacturing + Problem-solving methods Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s Degree within Engineering field preferred + Blueprint reading and GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) experience + Assembly and manufacturing process knowledge + Supplier quality management Work Environment You will be working in a manufacturing facility that produces forklifts and distributes globally. The facility operates continuous manufacturing as well as custom project-based work. Candidates will work a Monday to Thursday work week with occasional overtime on Friday and remote work as needed. The environment is typical for manufacturing, being cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Enjoy a clean facility where you can work on interesting projects and custom orders. The position is first shift with the benefit of a 4-day work schedule, allowing for a great work-life balance. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $46.00/hr.
