Kforce has a client that is seeking a Quality Engineer 5 in Kansas City, KS. Responsibilities: * Quality Engineer 5 will fix supplier quality and engineering issues impacting GCA, Direct Run and Warranty * Solve problems using Red X and other tools as applicable * Assist production in preventing defects and recommend process improvements * Collaborate with suppliers on SPPSs and ensure robust corrective action * Share Lessons Learned with Engineering to prevent repeat design or build issues * Review nonconforming parts and sub-assemblies for proper initial disposition and root cause * As a Quality Engineer 5, you will coordinate periodic system and process audits at the plant and supplier facilities * Coordinate engineering change implementation; Assist in running PTRs (Production Trial Run)
