As the Quality Director for our Lodz site, you will be the strategic and operational leader responsible for the full quality agenda across the plant. You will define and implement short‑ and long‑term quality strategies, set and govern standards, drive continuous improvement, and empower your team and cross‑functional partners to ensure product quality meets engineering specifications, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.

**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
• Define and implement short‑ and long‑term Quality strategies, policies, and targets.
• Lead the Quality culture transformation and propose investments in systems, labs, and inspection technologies.
• Own and manage Quality KPIs (FPY, scrap, PPM, audit results, complaint rate, cost of quality).
• Oversee Quality performance across the full Product Lifecycle and the entire Value Chain.
• Manage and develop the Quality team, including hiring, capability building, performance management, and budgeting.
• Ensure the effectiveness and certification of the Integrated Management System (ISO standards, documentation).
• Lead New Product Introduction Quality, including gate moderation and ensuring customer‑aligned launch readiness.
• Serve as the key Quality contact for customers: claim management, audits, visits, and executive‑level escalation.
• Drive Supplier Quality activities: PPAP, inspections, audits, claims, and product assurance.
• Ensure Internal Quality: inspections, process qualifications, audits, enforcement of quality standards.
• Lead QRQC at site, line, and supplier level to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Drive digital Quality initiatives (automated inspection, advanced analytics, AI‑based detection).
• Lead corrective and preventive actions, and manage internal/external audit execution and follow‑up.
• Oversee metrology and material laboratory functions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices across the FLMC EMEA Quality network.
• Comply with safety duties per Polish Labour Code Article 212 (safe work environment, PPE, OHS enforcement, medical recommendations).

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
• Proven experience leading Quality in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally including responsibility for strategy, systems, and performance.
• Strong understanding of ISO-based Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001; familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Practical knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, SPC, DOE, QRQC, 8D, and MSA.
• Experience with manufacturing technologies such as machining, plastics processing, or aluminum casting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills: communication, team development, collaboration, and performance management.
• Ability to interpret customer and engineering requirements and translate them into Quality processes and standards.
• Strong proficiency in English.
• Readiness to travel
• Fluent Polish (spoken and written)
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
• Experience in automotive or similarly demanding sectors with high Quality and regulatory expectations.
• Background leading Quality transformation initiatives or implementing advanced analytics, automated inspection, or digital quality tools.
• Experience working in regional or global Quality networks and contributing to multi-site alignment.
• Exposure to NPI processes, customer audits, and high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Formal engineering education or equivalent practical experience demonstrating strong technical and Quality foundations.
