Description A quality data strategist, a high-level individual contributor, will be collaborating with cross-functional teamsThis role involves leading and coordinating data-driven efforts across different departments or disciplinesEffective communication, adaptability, and a strong understanding of both technical and business aspects are essential for success in this roleStrategic Planning:Work closely with stakeholders from various functional areas (such as IT, marketing, finance, and operations) to understand their data needs and align analytics initiatives with organizational goalsDevelop a strategic vision for data analysis and drive its implementationData Governance and Quality Assurance:Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and securityCollaborate with data engineers and data scientists to maintain high-quality data pipelines and databasesCross-Functional Collaboration:Facilitate communication and collaboration between teamsTranslate business requirements into data analysis tasks and vice versaBridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders Project Management:Lead cross-functional projects related to data analysis, reporting, and insightsDefine project scope, timelines, and deliverablesMonitor progress and address any roadblocks Data Exploration and Visualization:Explore large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights. Data sources include electronic health records (e.g., EPIC), decision support systems (e.g, EPSi, StrataJazz), and other healthcare systemsCreate visualizations (such as charts, graphs, and dashboards) to communicate findings effectivelyStatistical Analysis and Modeling:Apply statistical techniques to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusionsCollaborate with data scientists to build predictive models when necessary Change Management and Training:Support organizational change related to data initiativesTrain team members on data tools, best practices, and analytical methodsOther duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelors degree, a master's degree is preferredAt least 5 years of experience either in healthcare or data analyticsAt least 2 years of experience working for payor companies or healthcare systemsAt least 2 years of experience in relational database Proficient in SQL and at least 1 other programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SAS)Experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, AI Excellent presentation skillsExperience in strategic planning and workflow optimization Mentor and coach the broader analytic team and service line operation leadersPreferred Qualifications:
EPIC certified or experience working with Epic Clarity data Experience in Strata or similar decision support system Management experience Agile experienceJUDGEMENT:
