Essential Responsibilities:
Thoroughly inspect fabricated rebar to ensure it matches the specifications outlined in the drawings, including dimensions, bends, and cutsInspect rebar to ensure they are correctly placed and of the required quality, verifying they meet project requirementsCompare the fabricated rebar to the approved shop drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specificationsEnsure that the correct quantity of correctly fabricated and material is correctly taggedReview and interpret plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications, or construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulationsPosition and secure steel bars, rods, cables, or mesh in concrete forms, using fasteners, rod-bending machines, blowtorches, or hand toolsQualifications:
3+ plus years of experience with finishing & repair of concrete on the siteMust have an academic degree or professional certificationFamiliarity with building code requirements and access to material standards and reference codesAbility to read and interpret machine schematicsSelf-motivated and have a desire to perform at one’s highest levelJob requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasksDemonstrates good problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skillsWork Conditions:

$56,000 - $77,000 annually
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
