**Job Title: Quality Control Technician** **Job Description** The Quality Control Technician will work in tandem with the Quality Manager to ensure all products in the manufacturing facility meet Quality Standards. This individual will typically walk the floor and work directly with machinists, operators, and welders to ensure they are following and meeting quality standards, spot check the quality of products, and ensure documentation meets expectations. **Responsibilities** + Walk the floor and work directly with machinists, operators, and welders to ensure adherence to quality standards. + Spot check the quality of products and ensure documentation meets expectations. + Read and interpret blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). + Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, surface plates, calipers, height gauges, and comparators. + Control nonconforming products. + Use Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) for documentation. + Communicate effectively with the shop floor to address quality issues. **Essential Skills** + Experience with manufacturing quality inspection using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring tools. + Proficiency in reading blueprints. + Understanding of shop math and close tolerances. + Great oral and written communication skills. + Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + GD&T knowledge is a major plus. + Experience with CMM/Faro Arm is a major plus. + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. **Why Work Here?** Competitive benefits and PTO offering.
