The role
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Control Technician is responsible for supporting RMA management, inspection, supplier quality processes, and cross-functional quality initiatives. This position ensures compliance with ISO 9001:2015 & 14001:2015 standards and plays a critical role in safeguarding product reliability and customer satisfaction. This role will be based on-site in Wood dale IL.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
· Managing incoming and outgoing RMA (Return Material Authorization) items, coordinating with suppliers and processing transactions.
· Supporting Material Review Board (MRB) operations, including maintaining inventory and records.
· Performing inspections on incoming, in-process, and field-returned items.
· Troubleshooting and reworking products as needed.
· Updating supplier databases, following up on quality issues, and maintaining the scrap and KPI databases.
· Collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
· Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with ISO and Veralto Quality Management Systems.
The essential requirements of the job include:
· Associate’s degree (or equivalent technical training) with 3+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or related fields.
· Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 standards.
· Ability to read blueprints and specifications and use measurement tools.
· Experience with inspection (incoming, in-process, final) and troubleshooting.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of ERP systems preferred.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $21.00 - $24.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, such as:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook – Excel – Work -PowerPoint)
Ability to produce clear, structured documents, reports and presentations.
Experience with Oracle System is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills Requirements:
