In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Ensuring the standard quality of parts received from suppliers meets Roxar PO requirements. Detailed measurements of parts with measuring tools, measuring fixture, and visual inspection of parts and assemblies. Handle non-conformances towards suppliers, timely resolve supplier quality issues and offer clarifications. Assist with supplier improvement, on-boarding activities and production fault finding. Planning of the control process, selection of measuring instruments and methods. Non-Destructive Examination of in-house EB-welded components and assemblies. Reporting, recording and storage of inspection results, traceability and deviations. Ensure supplier performance aligns with Emerson standards and represent the Company expertly at supplier locations. Have a high focus on quality ensuring that customer and product requirements are met. Aligned with and conduct themselves to Emerson’s Safety and Ethical standards both at Emerson and at suppliers’ sites.Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Apprenticeship / Fagbrev in a mechanical field. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality control of machined parts and components, (either direct or in-process inspection). Proficiency in English language both verbal and written, ability to communicate in Norwegian is beneficial. Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings and geometric tolerances. Have the current right to work and reside in Norway. Hold a valid driving license for Norway.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
A working understanding of ISO9001:2015 is an advantage. An understanding of PPAP process is beneficial. NDE certificate to Level II (Valid in Norway) on Dye-pen to level 2. Knowledge of basic electronics visual inspection would be beneficial. Ability to handle several tasks and balance multiple priorities. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (if required) to visit suppliers.
