Quality Control Manager - SSHO
Arctic Peak Construction is looking for a Quality Control Manager to work in Suffolk, Va. To join our team! Manage both Quality and Safety for federal construction projects for the USACE and or NAVFAC. **Responsibilities** + Manages the quality control program – develop inspection checklists, develop audit schedules, validate work instructions and SOPs against PWS requirements, track and submit all required CDRLs, and supervise the quality specialist. + Manages customer satisfaction program: respond to customer complaints, conduct customer follow-up on work performed, track programs statistics. + Subject matter expert on quality management concerns: track USG QASP, meet with QAEs and COR, track all non-conformances and corrective action plans. + Develops metrics to track contract performance. + Utilizes knowledge of IBC, NFPA, DoD Policies and Procedures, OSHA requirements, to ensure work is completed to standard and employees are working safely. + Acts as an On-call Manager (after hour duty support) for emergency response. + Inspects subcontractor performance against SOW. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + Must be a U.S. citizen, per contract requirements. + Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. + Must have at least 2 years of Quality Control/Quality Assurance surveillance experience in execution of a maintenance, manufacturing, or other service-related industry with at least 1 years in a decision making/supervisory capacity. + Experience in writing and executing Quality Surveillance Plan and schedules. + Able to read and interpret contractual documents and work statements. + Ability to develop presentations and reports on quality control activities. + Ability to follow written and verbal direction. + Ability to work with others and foster teamwork for employees engaged in maintenance administrative/clerical duties is required. + Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write the English language. + Strong organization skills. + Code inspection/enforcement experience a plus. + Construction management/inspection experience a plus. **Job ID** 2025-18804 **Work Type** On-Site **Company Description** **Work Where it Matters** Arctic Peak Construction, an Akima company, is not just another federal construction contractor.
