Quality Control Manager
Job Title: QA/QC Manager Job Description The Quality Control Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing standards, quality, and production in construction projects. This role involves following existing procedures and implementing new ones to align with daily construction quality checklists. Collaboration with Superintendents and Project Managers is essential to ensure job site organization and the use of appropriate construction materials. Responsibilities + Lead the standards used in the building process on site. + Ensure the construction process is efficient and effective from drawings to concept to project delivery. + Maintain construction quality through daily inspections and correction of inefficiencies. + Collaborate with Superintendents and Project Managers for job site organization. + Implement procedures that align with daily construction quality checklists. Essential Skills + Quality control expertise in construction. + Experience with construction inspection and documentation. + Familiarity with construction drawings and management. + Knowledge of industrial construction processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Manufacturing or industrial building experience is advantageous. + Ability to assist and enforce safety regulations. + OSHA certifications. + Comfortable with walking the job site daily for inspections. Work Environment The work environment includes 40 current workers and 6 management staff, projected to grow to 300 workers and multiple production facilities. The site features a full office, break room, large production floor, and loading docks. Employees work collaboratively, with the Sr. PM having extensive experience of 26 years with the company. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, South Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr.
