\t\t\t\t\tResponsibilities:\t· Ensure work onsite is completed in a safety, quality, and productive manner.\t· Maintain and implement the 3 Phases of Quality Control per USACE QCM Requirements\t· Ensure strict adherence to the USACE EM385-1-1 Safety Standards\t· Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.\t· Review of Submittals and Daily Coordination with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager\t· Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify and address potential deficiencies in construction practices, materials, and workmanship.\t· Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and maintain quality control plans.\t· Oversee the development and execution of corrective action plans to address identified non-conformities and ensure timely resolution.\t· Monitor construction progress and provide guidance to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the entire project lifecycle.\t· Coordinate and facilitate training programs to educate project teams on quality control procedures and best practices.\t· Manage and maintain detailed documentation related to quality control processes, inspections, and test results.\t· Conduct root cause analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance overall project quality and efficiency.\t· Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, codes, and regulations related to construction quality management.\t· Manage and conduct weekly QC Meetings with the client during the construction contract.\t· Manage and conduct daily safety meetings with subcontractors as necessary.\t· Review subcontractor Activity Hazard Analysis' prior to starting a definable feature of work.\t· This position will require daily management located on Naval Station Great LakesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\t· A minimum of 5 years of experience in direct quality control and/or management or post-secondary education\t· Proficient in the use of NAVFAC eCMS Management Software\t· Working knowledge of Procore Project Management Software is a Plus\t· Complete understanding of all Quality Control Manager requirements including:\t· Daily reports, Preparatory & Initial meetings, Submittal register, testing log, and holding weekly quality control meetings (and all other requirements).\t· Excellent verbal and written communications skills\t· OSHA 30-hour Certification is Required.\t· Current CPR and 1st Aid Training is Required\t· USACE EM385-1-1 40 Hour Certification is Required\t· Current USACE Quality Control Management Certification is Required\t· Knowledge of construction related technologies, quality activities and quality auditing. Ability to read and understand engineering design drawings, specifications, and applicable technical instructions, plans and reports.\t· Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and other applicable programs.\t· Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures.Qualifications:\t· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field. In lieu of a degree, years' experience will be taken into consideration.\t· Proven experience in construction quality management or quality assurance within the construction industry.\t· Must have strong ability to read and interpret project design documents including project drawings and specifications.\t· Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.\t· Familiarity with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.\t· Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify potential quality issues proactively.\t· Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.\t· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.\t· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.\t· Proficient in using construction quality management software and tools..

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
