Job Description:
As a Quality Inspector you will Inspect, test, or measure raw materials, or products being produced to ensure they meet all customer specifications and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
Review part samples for dimensions, visual appearance, and overall quality in accordance with print requirements. Perform first-article inspections as well as periodic and random checks at machine stations.Operate measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.Communicate quality concerns directly to machine operators, maintenance/tooling teams, supervisors, and other relevant personnel to halt production of suspect parts and support corrective actions.Perform job duties in alignment with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management standards.Carry out incoming inspections on raw materials and completed products.Keep accurate inspection documentation, manage SPC activities, and maintain company/customer blueprints.Education: High School
Experience: 12 months
Experience as a Quality Inspector, or relevant role, in a manufacturing setting preferred.Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.Working knowledge of MS Office.Physical:
Stand, walk, sit, hearing, talking, use of hands and fingers, hand-eye coordination, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, squat or kneel or bend.Lift, carry, push and/or pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs. without assistance.Industry: Manufacturing
