**Description** The duties below are the primary duties of the QCI role but other duties may be assigned at a managers discretion based on the needs of the company. Utilize Unipoint QMS software to maintain quality documents and records. Provide support with data collection. Update reports for Key Performance Indicators. Investigate product non-conformities. Coordinate with engineering and management to determine proper disposition for the non-conforming material. Provide support to engineering department in executing quality related tasks as needed. Read and interpret engineering drawings for product inspection and validation. Issue Engineering Change Requests to have the engineering department review and update product/manufacturing specifications. Communicate quality related issues and issue Corrective Action reports. Keep Quarantine area (for non-conforming material) organized and clean. Interface with customers to resolve quality related issues and inquiries. Occasionally assist with quality management system audits. Collaborate with other departments Engineering, Machine Shop, and Safety toward company goals. Perform other duties and projects within reason as assigned. Maintain 5S implementation throughout facility. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburg, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
