**Job Title: Quality Control Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Control Inspector to ensure the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for inspecting machined, fabricated, and assembled parts, both purchased and manufactured, and ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and quality procedures. **Responsibilities** + Inspect machined, fabricated, sub-assembled, and assembled parts, both purchased and manufactured. + Perform, control, and record the calibration of inspection tools and instruments. + Review and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and formulas to perform inspections. + Suggest modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality. + Review and analyze job tasks and inspection tool inventory to improve inspection efficiency. + Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, overhead hoists, and lifting devices for moving parts. + Coordinate with the Engineering department to resolve any deficiencies or nonconformance. + Perform inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Gear Measuring Machines, and other testing equipment. + Review Certificates of Conformance or material certificates and initiate corrective actions. + Execute enterprise transactions to support electronic inspection queues and discrepant material reports. + Become familiar with appropriate Quality Management System procedures and requirements. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience performing inspections in a heavy industrial setting. + Proficiency with tools such as calipers, micrometers, and hardness testers. + Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and their operation. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OHC & Forklift experience. + Machining experience. + Computer skills. + Farrow arm experience. + Good organization skills. + Safety-focused. + Punctuality and reliability. + Flexibility to assist other teams. **Why Work Here?** Join a company where safety is the top priority and the culture is supportive and family-oriented.
