Job Description:
Location: Watertown, Connecticut
CoWorx Staffing Services is actively seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a local Cosmetic Manufacturing Company within the Greater Waterbury, CT Area.
Responsibilities:
Conduct inspection of incoming materials and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
Apply statistical inspection techniques (such as AQL) to evaluate product quality.
Serve as a quality gatekeeper between internal teams and external suppliers, maintaining impartiality in inspections.
Interpret technical drawings and product specifications to verify compliance.
Perform and document visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
Accurately record inspection data and enter transactions using ERP systems.
Identify and isolate non-conforming materials and provide clear documentation or justification.
Communicate inspection findings to relevant departments, including quality, production, and management.
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Desired Background/Skills:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Prior experience in a quality assurance or inspection role within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with quality control tools and inspection methods.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Basic understanding of statistics and inspection sampling (AQL preferred).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and ERP systems.
Strong communication skills.
ASQ certification or similar quality-related credentials are an asset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and production demands.

Monday – Friday
1st shift 7:00am-3:00pm
2nd shift 3:00pm-11:00pm
