Job Title: Quality Control Inspection Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Quality Control Inspection Technician, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of parts for agricultural and transportation products. You will conduct end-of-line inspections and measurements to ensure all products meet precise specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform end-of-line inspections and measurements using calipers, Faro Arm/CMM, tape measure, angle finders, and other inspection equipment.Work from blueprints to ensure products meet detailed specifications.Conduct visual and strength testing on welds.Report quality findings to production operators and collaborate with Leads and Trainers to resolve issues.Document and report quality issues to customers and internally.Stand firm in addressing any product issues with production operators.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 2 years of inspection experience in-line or within a quality department.Strong communication skills to effectively address and resolve production issues.Familiarity with ISO audits and ability to assist in audit preparations.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with inspection tools such as calipers, Faro Arm, and micrometers.Prefer candidates with a CWI, or interest to obtain it.Knowledge of weld inspection and ISO standards.

Work Environment

Our facility is a relatively new and expanding shop with about 40 people across both shifts. The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with overtime opportunities on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WEST FARGO, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
