Description
Responsibilities:Provide customer and sales support regarding product quality issues, ensuring timely and effective complaint resolution.Maintain and communicate quality metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to key stakeholders, promoting transparency and accountability.Analyze quality performance data and metrics every month to identify trends, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.Document and manage records of non-conformances, coordinating the return of materials when necessary.Investigate product defects and non-conformances through root cause analysis, collaborating with other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.Monitor and resolve customer feedback and complaints promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.Serve as a quality resource for production staff, offering guidance on quality-related issues and troubleshooting problems as they arise.Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to address recurring quality issues, driving improvements across departments.Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to uphold industry and regulatory standards.Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to enhance consistency in product quality.Train production staff on quality control processes and standards, fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a related field is required. Alternatively, a degree in quality management, engineering, or a related discipline may substitute for some or all of this experience, depending on the degree level and relevance to the role.Holding a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or a Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.Proven ability to promote and foster a culture of Continuous Improvement.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate courteously and professionally across all levels.Highly organized with a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.Flexible and cooperative in adapting to a changing workload and shifting priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with clarity and attention to detail.Skilled in applying problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance processes.Familiarity with interpreting purchase orders, government contracts, and blueprints.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.Competent in creating and interpreting charts, graphs, Excel worksheets, and Pivot tables, with experience in extracting data from ERP systems.Comfortable and effective in communicating with upper management and customers.Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.Flexible, self-motivated, and willing to take on new responsibilities and expand skills.Willingness to grow into a quality supervisor or manager role.Experience Level

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
