Job Description

Quality and Compliance Lead

Noida/Pune-India

The Quality & Compliance Lead will champion, support and lead quality management systems and quality improvement initiatives and ensure all managers and process owners maintain their part of the quality management system. He or she is responsible for formulating and implementing policies and procedures that enhance the quality of the GEBS Engineering and Business Operations processes. Will also contribute to LCS quality management initiatives considering GEBS being an integrated part of LCS. He or she identifies areas of improvement in this area, possibly through analysis of Quality Gate Reviews, Transactional Quality Checks, internal audits, external audits, and customer complaints/feedback, CAPA, KPIs and risk analysis. Works closely with managers to implement and monitor improvement strategies and evaluates and prioritizes projects & programs to ensure resources are directed towards achieving the highest levels of quality.

You will be reporting to MANAGER- QMS & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT.

Your Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end deployment, maintenance, and governance of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with ISO 9001:2015 and other applicable standards.Design, implement, and evolve quality processes and testing protocols, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business needs.Understand and integrate cross-functional systems and enterprise-wide processes, ensuring QMS is harmonized with broader organizational workflows.Own quality planning, monitoring, and reporting, including the development of KPIs, dashboards, and executive summaries to track performance and compliance.Plan, facilitate, and report on internal quality audits, investigations, and CAPA activities.Oversee document control and lifecycle management, ensuring version control, accessibility, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.Drive root cause analysis and corrective action planning, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues and systemic risk mitigation.Maintain ISO certifications (e.g., ISO 9001:2015) through rigorous internal controls, audit readiness, and continuous alignment with evolving standards.Manage external audits and customer quality assessments, serving as the primary liaison and ensuring successful outcomes.Champion automation and digital transformation of QMS processes, leveraging tools to enhance traceability, efficiency, and data integrity.Mentor and train teams on QMS principles, tools, and compliance expectations, building quality capability across the organization.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

Bachelor Degree of Engineering or Quality related.Prior experience in quality management.Overall, 8 to 12 years of experience in quality management, engineering or project management.Excellent traceable knowledge in one or several of the areas Quality Management, testing methodology and project management.Fluent English language skills (reading & writing).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

Traceable experience in quality management methods and techniques, like e.g. ISO 9001, Lean Six-Sigma, is desired.Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015.Prior experience in industrial automation.Experience with EDMS (electronic document management system) and Project Management.
