Quality Auditor II
**Job Description** Provides Quality Assurance Support to Production Teams. Works with limited Direct Supervision. Performs Inspections, such as Dimensional, Visual, Surface Roughness, and Paint Thickness covering machined and non-machined items, subassembly, assembly, fabrications and complete systems. Verifies Conformance with Product Specifications. Performs other Plant duties as assigned. Position Responsibilities: 1. Ensures Parts, Components, and Assemblies are conforming to Engineered Blueprints and are in compliance with Quality Requirements, i.e. Work Instructions and MIL standards. 2. Prepares, executes and maintains various Inspection Records, Forms, Reports and Quality Record Files as required. 3. Ensures proper care and maintenance of Inspection Equipment, such as Micrometers, Calipers, and Height Gauges, Surface Plate etc. 4. Conducts audits that encompass physical product, tooling, fixturing documentation and process control system. 5. Works from Engineering Drawings, Inspection Procedure, Military and Commercial Specifications, Purchase Orders, Technical Hand Book, Written Requirements, Sketches or Charts and record the correct Disposition of Accept or Reject and record it in the correct data base. (Oracle, EFIR, TipQA.) 6. Work with Minimum Supervision. 7. Mentor Grade 5 & 6 Auditors in performing their duties. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** than 1 year. 2. Must have met all VUOC Quality Auditor I skills and requirements. 3. Must be able to Read and Interpret Engineered 2D, 3D blueprints and apply to inspection criteria. 4. Must have the knowledge and familiarization of Precision Measuring Equipment, such as: Surface Plate, Height Gauge, Digital Calipers, Steel Rules, Faro Arm, Ring Gauges, and Pin Gauges. 5. Must demonstrate the understanding of the quality assurance systems and perform the following business system transactions: (1) Proficient in Oracle (Quality results data entry); (2) Proficient in TipQA (NCR data entry); (3) Proficient in EFIR System Programs (vehicle data entry). 6. Must have the ability to use basic data entry skills while using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. 7. Must be able to work with attention to detail and applying written requirements to components. 8. Must be able to read and understand the decimal system and fraction tables. 9. Must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment. 10. Must have knowledge of welding, reading weld symbols, and interpret weld drawings. 11. Must have demonstrated proficiency in all quality inspection areas for one vehicle or process. **Pay Information** This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
