Position Summary

We are seeking a Quality Analyst with experience in Life and Annuity Death Claims to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for performing quality control and assurance tasks to ensure that claim payments and correspondence adhere to regulatory and internal standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in life insurance operations and is passionate about process improvement, compliance, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct quality control reviews of Life and Annuity Death Claims payments and correspondence to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Maintain and enhance quality standards and procedures in accordance with industry best practices.

Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Support the investigation of quality issues and assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve process deficiencies.

Document and maintain quality assurance reports, records, and audit trails.

Support training and mentoring of junior quality staff as needed.

Adhere to all quality assurance policies and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Life and Annuity insurance, specifically in Death Claims processing and quality assurance.

Strong understanding of insurance regulations, quality control principles, and risk management.

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard QA tools.

Strong commitment to continuous learning and process excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in a relevant field.

Professional certifications such as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Certified Quality Manager (CQM), or equivalent.

Experience in cross-functional collaboration and change management initiatives.

Work Environment

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Initially remote, with the expectation of transitioning to a hybrid model based on proximity to the nearest DXC office.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours (8:30 AM – 6:00 PM EST).

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $43,800 - $81,300.
