The tester will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting comprehensive test strategies to ensure high‑quality software releases. Key Responsibilities + Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases + Create and manage test data throughout the QA lifecycle + Perform functional, regression, volume, performance, and stress testing + Analyze test results to identify functional and technical defects + Document issues using defect‑tracking tools and collaborate with project teams + Prepare applications for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) + Provide support to business stakeholders throughout UAT + Validate that all quality standards are met before production deployment Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills + Experience with additional QA/testing toolsets + Exposure to automation or scripting + Strong communication and documentation abilities Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Albany, NY.
