Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be an integral part of the quality assurance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to quality management, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Quality Assurance Technician
**Location:** Salem, OR
**Pay Range:** $20.00/hour
**Position Type:** 3-Month Contract-to-Hire
**Shift:** 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday
**What's the Job?**
+ Monitor and audit production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
+ Read and interpret product specifications to verify product conformity
+ Perform laboratory analysis on raw materials and finished products according to work instructions
+ Place non-conforming products on “hold,” document their status, and communicate findings to supervisors and QA managers
+ Assist in special projects and ensure accurate data collection and record-keeping
**What's Needed?**
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
+ Experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, food manufacturing experience preferred
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Ability to work independently with strong initiative and reliability
