The Quality Assurance Lab Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety within the facility. The technician will adhere to cGMP and BRC standards, perform quality control checks on the production floor, conduct lab testing of raw materials and in-process products, and advise on updating standard operating procedures. Additionally, the technician will conduct internal audits, perform investigations and root-cause analysis, and complete data entry and reporting using Excel. This role requires effective cross-functional communication with all manufacturing departments and leadership, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & QualificationsAS or BS in Biology or any scientific discipline.Titrations and microbiology testing experience.Understanding of chemistry and lab equipment.Bilingual proficiency preferred.
Work Environment
The plant operates 24/7, and this position is for the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The role offers a shift differential, with a pay increase after a 15-week training period, and bi-weekly bonuses for perfect attendance. The team comprises an Assistant Quality Manager and three technicians per shift. Per GMP guidelines, artificial nails, eyelashes, and visible jewelry are not allowed, and closed-toed shoes, long pants, and long-sleeve shirts must be worn. Uniforms and freezer jackets will be provided as the role involves working in and out of the freezer.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.95 - $20.25/hr.
