Quality Assurance Technician
Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician Job Description The Quality Assurance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that finished products and components meet specified parameters by utilizing lab equipment for testing. This position involves performing multiple process checks throughout production, packaging, and warehousing functions, as well as setting up and calibrating HPLC and GC testing equipment. Responsibilities + Test finished products and components to ensure compliance with specified parameters. + Conduct multiple process checks throughout production, packaging, and warehousing. + Set up and calibrate HPLC and GC testing equipment. + Receive, document, and communicate batch testing results for clients into specified systems. + Analyze and report quality results to supervisors and managers. + Perform physical property testing using instrumentation. + Provide independent oversight of lab processes and verify compliance with company standards and policies. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related life science field is highly preferred. + Alternatively, 2+ years of experience in a production or quality lab setting. + Experience with HPLC/GC is highly preferred. + High School diploma is required. Work Environment The work environment is a dynamic manufacturing/plant setting with operations frequently interacting with the lab. The facility operates on a shift schedule from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Training will be conducted on the first shift for several weeks. The lab is currently undergoing renovations, with significant investments being made, making it an exciting time to join the team. The role requires adaptability and the ability to focus despite numerous moving parts. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
