Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting various functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Quality Assurance Technician
**Location:** Milpitas, CA
**Pay Range:** $29-$30
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform functional quality tests on materials accurately and efficiently.
+ Record and report results of inspections, failure analysis, and defect data using SAP and other databases.
+ Conduct detailed visual inspections to determine product quality and disposition goods accordingly.
+ Coordinate with production line technicians when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits.
+ Assist with failure investigations and recommend dispositions for questionable products.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or quality environment.
+ Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
+ Understanding of quality concepts and terminology such as ISO 9000.
+ Able to comprehend engineering drawings and specifications.
