Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Assurance Tech to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Tech, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Quality Assurance Tech
**Location:** Edgewood, MD
**Pay Range:** $20.00 per hours
**Shift:** Shift 6:00am to 3:00 PM
**What's the Job?**
+ Support plant quality initiatives related to Process and Product Quality
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supplier Quality, Operations, Warranty, and Design Engineering
+ Assist Quality Assurance Engineers with process and product improvement plans
+ Conduct process and product audits to ensure compliance and quality standards
+ Support internal Corrective Action Requests (CAR) process and quality reporting
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
+ Above-average analytical skills and attention to detail
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
