What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Evaluate and review commercial drug batches to ensure adherence to specifications and identify deviations from standards in manufacturing and packaging processes.Approve investigations and change control activities to maintain compliance with configuration management policies.Lead people, technology, and financial resources, and share knowledge actively across the unit.Identify potential improvements in processes or products.Manage the performance ofdirect reports, and provide input to senior management decisions.Initiate and manage investigations, implementing corrective and preventative actions, and maintain and revise Document Control Standard Operating Procedures.Ensure timely completion of investigations to support production operations, coordinate all quality functions through Pfizer Quality Systems, and supervise Aseptic Service Workers and documentation personnel.Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans
Accomplishes quality assurance human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, scheduling and coaching, employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions.
Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
High school diploma biologist , pharmacist with 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industryAdvanced analytical skillsDemonstrated leadership skillsQuality operations technical knowledge and strong people management experienceEffective communication skills, both written and verbalThorough understanding of GMPs, applicable SOPs, production processes, and statistical/inspection practicesBonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Proficiency in using data analysis computer tools and conducting statistical analysisFamiliarity with Laboratory Information Management System Empower and Microsoft Office programsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think criticallyExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong collaboration and team-building skillsWork Location Assignment: On Premise
