About the role

As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will oversee QA for raw/packaging materials, manage SAP quality systems, lead audits, ensure GMP/HACCP compliance, handle incidents, and lead a QA team to uphold product quality standards.
 

Location: Bangkok, Thailand Reporting to: Quality Manager Key responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Oversee QA processes for raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PM), and trade products to ensure compliance with specifications. Manage material status: positive release, quarantine, and rejection. Ensure GMP and HACCP compliance related to RM and PM processes.

System & Process Management

Administer RM/PM quality control in SAP, including release, rejection, and quality management settings. Maintain and update the Allergen RM master list and ensure proper distribution. Manage and control non-conforming materials and products, including RM, PM, and trade items. Handle blocked and NC stock, including RM issues and product release concerns.

Testing & Risk Management

Coordinate annual RM testing with suppliers and internal teams to meet timelines. Conduct raw material risk assessments and food fraud vulnerability analyses. Manage special material programs (e.g., ETO control) per customer requirements. Review and update ETO program compliance and batch testing results.

Incident & Complaint Handling

Lead investigations and follow-ups on material and product incidents. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on non-conformance feedback and corrective actions. Support customer complaint investigations, traceability, and mock recall exercises.

Audit & Regulatory Support

Support internal, customer, and third-party audits. Assist in vendor assessments and complaint investigations. Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and regulatory standards.

Team Leadership & Performance

Lead, train, and manage a team of QA Officers. Monitor team performance and manage manpower planning and overtime.

Additional Responsibilities

Submit Valid-IT documentation as required. Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the line manager. Qualifications and skills Degree in Food Science or other science disciplines with related manufacturing experience Minimum 5 years working experience in food industry with Quality Assurance background Familiar with Food Safety Program and Hazard Analysis HACCP, GMP, BRC, food safety & legislation, SAP Knowledgeable & excellent experience in Analytical Laboratory Testing including sensory test evaluation, basic of chemical/physical testing and calibration of equipment Candidate with 3-5 years supervisory skills is a must Prior experience in handing and supporting internal and external quality audit is preferred Good communication skills in English both oral and written Equipped with good computer skill as well as accountable for the adherence to and conformance of established quality control procedures, policies and standards at the assigned plant location to ensure the highest quality product and materials necessary to meet customer expectations·
