And so much more.​   ​ Come break through with us.  **Purpose of the Position:** Provide direction and leadership to the QA department. Supervise the team leaders that manage the quality inspector teams across multiple shifts. Define and implement improvements within operations, including lean, operational excellence, increased technical skills, safety projects and performance gains. Drives inspection performance leads team engagement and ensures alignment with plant milestones and long-term operational goals. **Key Responsibilities** + Supervise QA Team Leaders ensuring proper coordination, coverage and inspector performance. + Establish daily and weekly expectations, monitor execution and hold team accountable for timely and accurate inspection deliverables. + Support the onboarding development and engagement of new QA inspectors ensuring structured training and qualification are completed. + Actively coach team leaders to grow leadership capability, foster consistency and reinforce a culture of quality and accountability. + Work to achieve cost, quality, health, and safety objectives across multiple shifts. + Execute the plant objectives at the tactical level focused on continuous improvement. + Communicate and report quality performance metrics to production teams, plant operations staff and functional leaders. + Build effective relations with plant support groups. + Ensure team executes documented operating procedures and follows established document control protocols. + Ensure the protection of Corning’s Intellectual Property (IP). **Education & Experience** + BS (or equivalent) in Engineering + Leadership experience in functional or project roles(s) + 7+ years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience **Desired Skills** + Six Sigma Greenbelt/DMAIC certification + Lean Manufacturing techniques and knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting (budget tracking/spending) **This position does not support immigration sponsorship.** The range for this position is $112,328.00 - $154,451.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
