As a Manager for Quality, you will be defining the long-term strategies and raising the quality bar of our products and experiences. You will be working in a fast-paced environment requiring high velocity decision making. You will be effectively partnering and influencing the stakeholders and communicating with senior leaders toward Alexa’s mission. You will be raising the quality bar as we invent rapidly on behalf of our millions customers.
Key job responsibilities
You own the quality for the Alexa device software with millions of customers and innovative technology.
You communicate effectively (both oral and written) with senior leaders and stakeholders cutting across the geographies and functions.
You will be defining the high-level vision for Alexa device software quality and setting the long-term direction.
You will be adept with architecture, business drivers, and technologies and be a hands-on manager while having a strategic focus.
You will be developing an young org of engineers, establishing scalable mechanisms to deliver multimodal experiences.
You are able to decompose complex problems into straight-forward solutions. You consistently bring strong, data-driven business, and technical judgment to decisions. You set the standards.
You take the time to grow successful engineers through collaborative development planning, coaching, and strategic project assignment.
