Quality Assurance Lead

Position Responsibilities:   + L ead activities in partnership with manufacturing, maintenance, quality and warehouse teams (i.e., team meetings, shift exchanges, daily direction-setting, visual controls, status-at-a-glance boards, etc.) based on direction from department managers/supervisors + Work with Supervisors and Blenders to ensure appropriate rotation and scheduling of batches to minimize production impact + Learn how to use Lean tools to drive process improvement strategies in a manufacturing environment + Assist with process improvements for Making, Packing and Shipping , i.e., remove waste from the system and improve efficiencies + Perform standard testing of analytical equipment to provide input on accuracy, downtime issues, and offer solutions + Conduct G emba walk and manufacturing safety audits with department managers and supervisors + Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience:   + H igh S chool Diploma or G eneral E ducation D iploma and 1 plus years of general work experience Benefits At the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees.
