Summary:
Verifies work orders and completed lenses are matched together after AR coating processes. Verifies and approves quality of product. Prepares scans and moves completed product from the AR facility.

Pay Class: Full Time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.53 per hour
Essential Responsibilities:
Prioritize tray processing flow as dictated by tray color or priority sticker.
Properly complete a cosmetic inspection to ensure that the lens is within Visionworks Standards.
Correctly identify and mark the factory markings for all progressive lens type.
Verify that lens being inspected is in the correct tray.
Properly sort trays for AR Shipping, AR Bench, SL Returns and Defectives/Breakage.
Ensure all Cut jobs are properly separated and transferred to AR to Bench.
Verify that all lens treatments (AR Coating, Mirror Coating and Incognito Coating) have been applied prior to scanning a job to a shipping status.
Set up Innovation system so that jobs may be scanned to their correct status.
Confirm that AR Inspector has initialed the work order.
Properly wrap shipping job with all the required documentation and sort into the correct shipping bin.
Ability to communicate and escalate with peers and principles.
Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility.
Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy work place environment.
Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
Experience & Background:
One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred
Language Skills:
Ability to read English in order to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Mathematical Skills:
General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division
Reasoning Ability
Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions
General problem solving abilities
Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
