The role involves conducting inspections, reporting findings, and collaborating with production teams to ensure continuous improvement in quality.
Responsibilities:Verify dimensions of parts against blueprints, using a variety of tools including gage blocks, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators and other hand gagesUse other equipment, such as profilometers, air gages, etc. as necessaryInspect products at various stages of production, including incoming inspection, first piece inspection and final inspectionConduct receiving and visual inspection of parts received from outside processing (heat treat, nondestructive testing, painting, plating, passivation, coating, etc.)Develops and completes final inspection reports using Excel Qualifications and Requirements:Data entryAttention to detail/thoroughnessGood problem-solving skills and communicationManufacturing experienceFamiliarity with AS9100 documentationMeasurement accuracyMust be able to pass pre-employment testsHigh school diploma Benefits and Perks:$18-25/hr. + 7% shift differentialMedical BenefitsTraining and Growth Your New Organization:A leading manufacturer specializing in high-performance parts for the aerospace and defense industries.
