Job Responsibilities

Monitor and audit sanitation team between production shiftsMonitor sanitation practices of equipmentCollect samples and evaluate results for environmental monitoring programsInvestigate and monitor unacceptable environmental resultsRead and monitor sanitizer strength by production areaCalibrate monitoring equipmentEnforce facility Good Manufacturing/Hygiene PracticesInventory chemical supplyComplete facility audits

Required Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma/GED or 1 years’ experience in a quality control, production, and/or military roleMust have good math skillsMust be able to communicate, read and write in EnglishStrong computer skills/knowledgeKnowledge of production processesMust be a self-starter and have good communication skillsAccuracy, precision, and dependability are a necessityMust be willing to work overtime and weekends as neededExcellent attendance and safety records requiredMust be willing to cross-train to work in other areas of FSQR coverageMust be able to work in cold/damp and hot/humid environmentMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsMust work well alone or as a team playerProlonged periods of walking and standing requiredMust be able to work weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor degreePrevious experience in food / meat plant environmentHACCP trainingComputer knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
