Role OverviewReporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of device software and hardware through rigorous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position is part of the Engineering department located in Düsseldorf and will be on-site 3 to 5 days a week.
Day in the life of:Preparation of test plans and selection of appropriate test methods
Testing of device software and complete documentation of tests
Checking the device electronics using reliability test methods (ALT/HALT-tests)
Development of automated test systems and scripts
Execution of manual and automated test runs (integration tests, regression tests, software tests, system tests)
Collaborate with developers from different disciplines to analyze risks and develop solutions to problems
QualificationsCompleted university education (e.g. information technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics) or completed technical college education of at least two years as well as several years of work experience
Experience in the creation of test plans and test setups, as well as knowledge in the area of software testing and/or embedded software development
Programming skills (Python, C/C++, HTML)
Confident use of MS Office programs, bug tracking tools and documentation such as Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence
Language skills: English and at least certified B2-level in German
