Position Summary Provide Quality Engineering related support to the Parker Hydraulic Systems Division’s FAA Repair Station and Aftermarket Product Support Team in accordance with all applicable company and U.S. Government regulations, policies, and procedures. As a Quality Engineer in a FAA Repair Station, you will be expected to develop a deep understanding and experience of all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) for PART 145 as related to quality with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency. You will be expected to understand and give guidance to Parker team members and Customers related to Parker product conformance based on Parker Engineering, FAA approved technical data, and contractual expectations. Essential Functions + Disposition nonconforming conditions and major deviations. + Contribute to test stand and product validation efforts. + Communicate with internal and external customers effectively and efficiently. + Collaborate with Repair Station Quality team on the effectiveness of the Repair Station Quality Manual, Repair Station Training Manual, and the AS9100 quality system. + Participate and occasionally lead customer and regulatory audits. + Ensure customer, FAA, EASA, CAAC, and Military compliance. + Quality liaison between the Repair Station and Product Support Team and OEM Engineering and Product Integrity Teams. + Participate and occasionally lead investigations and support Root Cause Correction Action (RCCA) for customer reported nonconformances. + Earn credentials and perform duties associated with certification of new and return to service products. (FAA Repairman and Parker ODA) + Participate in LEAN Kaizen Activities focused on eliminating waste, improving productivity, and achieving sustained continual improvement. Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline. + Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired throughtwo or more yearsof related experience + Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts. + Knowledge of Quality tools and concepts. + Knowledge and experience with statistical improvement methods and corrective action. + Experience working in a CFR Title 14 Part 145 certified Repair Station preferred, not required.
