Kforce has a client in Beaverton, Oregon (OR) that is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. The position is in Beaverton, Oregon and is 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home. Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive assessment of our current capabilities across apparel and footwear, identifying gaps, and developing strategies to enhance processes and suggest solutions. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and integrity of our materials, colors, and ultimately products. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in material/product development, quality assurance, and process improvement. What will you work on: * Conduct a thorough analysis of current capabilities across apparel and footwear, including materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control measures * Identify gaps and areas for optimization in current processes and tools * Develop and implement strategies to improve color and material quality, reduce defects, and enhance overall product integrity * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and ensure alignment with business objectives * Develop and maintain relationships with engineers who manage our suppliers and factories to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations * Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for optimization * Develop and present reports and recommendations to senior leadership on product integrity initiatives and progress
