What we're looking for:
We are looking for an experienced QA engineer to drive manual and automated testing within Prime Video Sports across a broad technology stack. This role involves deep involvement on projects from design to development & deployment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the future of the Prime Video Sports customer experience. Successful candidates for this position demonstrate ability to multi-task, quickly adapt to new development environments and changing business requirements, learn new systems, create reliable/maintainable automated tests, find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and orally. What you will do here:
You will work with groups such as Product Management, UX designers to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests driving the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies. You will also work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation. In this role, you will be responsible to deliver manual/automated solutions to test customer facing features. You will be empowered to choose the right highly scalable and available technology to solve complex problems in software quality assurance.

Key job responsibilities
1. Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and product releases.
2. Bug Identification and Resolution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
3. Automation tooling: Develop, extend, and maintain automated tests on iOS, Android, Web, and Living Room Clients to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of quality throughout the development lifecycle.
5. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvements to enhance overall product quality.
