Quality Assurance Associate
Job Title: Quality Assurance Associate Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week in Seattle, WA Start Date: June 26, 2025 End Date: December 30, 2025 (3-month contract, potential for extension) Schedule: Full-time Compensation: Up to $24/hour Travel Required: No About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Advisor to join the Supply Quality and Product Safety team. This role plays a critical part in implementing and auditing manufacturing quality strategies, ensuring food safety, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting continuous delivery of safe, high-quality products. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one additional flexible day based on team needs. Key Responsibilities + Monitor and escalate product complaints and quality issues + Review and organize incoming feedback from store teams and customers + Analyze trends in customer and partner feedback to identify quality concerns + Manage supplier documentation and backend systems + Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure timely task completion + Maintain quality and compliance documentation + Support backlog reduction and assist with ongoing quality projects + Navigate internal systems to identify and support suppliers in need + Adapt to shifting priorities and business needs in a fast-paced environment Team & Culture + Small, collaborative team of 3 + Shared ownership of deliverables + Strong cross-functional collaboration + Opportunity to work with highly qualified professionals and explore mentorships Qualifications Required: + Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, or related field (or Associate’s with 3+ years of experience) + 2+ years of experience in food/product safety or quality assurance + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel + Strong organizational and task management skills + Excellent communication and collaboration abilities + Growth mindset and adaptability Preferred: + Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industries + Familiarity with supplier management systems (e.g., Entilex) + PCQI training (FDA), HACCP, or other food safety certifications What Success Looks Like + Clear understanding of deliverables and expectations + Strong collaboration with the hiring manager and team + Ability to pivot and prioritize based on business needs + Timely and accurate documentation and issue resolution Why Join Us?
