FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSE:

To assist the Quality Assurance Manager in the development, maintenance and communication of the company Quality Assurance system.

The key roles the FTC will be conducting (as a minimum) are:

Validation of balance checksKPIStamp and CASAC routine oversightPurchase OrdersAudit – canteen, screening, gowning, roomsEHS hazard logging5S oversight/managementTraining managementQuality day organization

Desirable:

Knowledge of laboratory testing methods and the standards pertaining to those methodsGood IT skillsUnderstanding and knowledge of industry specifications / test methodsGood understanding and knowledge of International, National and Customer Quality systems standards.Qualified and experienced Internal Quality AuditorKnowledge, understanding in the use of Continuous Improvement methods and techniques (SPC, FMEA, Standard Operations, Lean, Sigma Logic, Value Stream etc)

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

To maintain, control and communicate the company Quality System documentation.Maintain KPI’s and reports for the Quality department and escalation of red flag issues to quality management.To administer and review the Non-Conformance, corrective and preventive action systems via QMS systems where necessary.To support the internal quality audit programmeTo monitor and maintain the quality record storage systems.To oversee the calibration and equipment verification system – maintaining records and the completion of these records. Raising problems to the quality engineers or quality managerTo support risk management of non conformances raised through calibration.To assist the Quality Manager in the administration of customer and third party quality audits, and the maintenance of Quality system and product approvals, including visit screeningCoordinate the maintenance of record control and compliance to the required templates and systems across the site.To maintain the smooth running of the Quality Assurance department by covering absenteeism or work load fluctuationsUpdate and maintain supplier quality agreementsAdministrate the update of specification and raw material changes within ERP system from information given by other departments
