Our client, a leading organization in the food safety and quality assurance industry, is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance professional to join their team. As a Quality Assurance specialist, you will be an integral part of the Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) department supporting inspection and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: 23.18
Shift: Monday - Friday with a 6 AM start, 40-hour work week
What's the Job?
Inspect fruits and vegetables to assess quality and determine whether they should be kept, discarded, or donated. Monitor food safety and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. Support inspection and audit procedures, including HACCP, sanitation, pest control, and good manufacturing practices. Assist in product evaluations, plant visits, and communication with suppliers and customers as needed. Participate in emergency response activities as directed by plant management to ensure operational continuity.What's Needed?
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without equipment. Knowledge of produce quality standards (vegetables and fruits) is helpful but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety protocols. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 0-3 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or related fields.What's in it for me?
