Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Assurance in Carlsbad, Ca. 

 

As a Quality Assurance you will:

Perform in-process and final inspections of parts to ensure compliance with quality standards. Work with production staff to identify and troubleshoot quality issues in real-time. Document inspection findings and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Utilize various inspection tools and equipment including microscopes, multimeters, and calipers. Maintain accurate records and follow established quality control procedures. Ensure a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.

 

This is a full time opportunity

 

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in Quality Inspection
Prior experience performing in-process and final inspections in a manufacturing or production environment.

Knowledge of Quality Standards
Understanding of quality control procedures and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, or other applicable standards).

Technical Proficiency
Ability to use inspection tools and equipment such as microscopes, multimeters, calipers, and other measuring instruments.

Problem-Solving Skills
Experience working with production teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues in real-time.

Documentation Skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results, non-conformances, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Organizational and Record-Keeping Abilities
Capable of maintaining thorough and organized records in accordance with company procedures.

Safety & Cleanliness Awareness
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment in line with company and regulatory guidelines.

Basic Electrical/Mechanical Knowledge (Preferred)
Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, or basic understanding of electro-mechanical systems is a plus.

Communication & Teamwork
Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
Additional technical certifications or training in Quality Control or Inspection is a plus.

 

Pay Rate: $23.00-25.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
