\nThe Systems Analyst II figures out how to best use computerized applications to conduct business and operate efficiently and effectively. The Systems Analyst II bridges the gap between the business needs of the customer and the technology of computerization.
\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
\n\nConducts requirements gathering with non-technical subject matter experts to understand business process needs and program requirements to create use cases, flow charts, acceptance criteria and other documentation needed for system enhancements. Will serve as a technical expert responsible for working with non-technical and technical stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication is maintained throughout the software development life cycle. (20%)\nPerforms necessary testing of assigned programs, including the generation of test data, writing test scripts/execution sequences, examining test results, debugging detected errors, etc. Uses current software development methods/techniques and established development standards (which include testing standards) to ensure the quality and maintainability of applications. (40%)\nMaintains applicable testing documentation as directed. Provides input to UAT test cases, user testing, and to analysts and product owners on test results (20%)\nMaintains test artifacts/test deliverables. (10%)\nPerforms other job duties as required. (10%)\n\n\n
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
\n· Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
\n· Knowledge of TFS / Azure Dev Ops and common test automation software such as Selenium
\n· Knowledge of SQL and Python scripting
\n· Knowledge of HealthEdge/HealthRules Payor, or other claims processing systems
\n· Knowledge of Selenium/Cypress tools with Java /Java scripting
\n· Knowledge of EDI file formats
\n· Skill in performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
\n· Skill in monitoring debugging process results, troubleshooting and problem-solving
\n· Skill in tracking quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and defect counts
\n· Skill in communicating with different stakeholders to identify and gather system requirements
\n· Skill in verbal, written, and presentation communication
\n· Skill communicating with varied levels of staff and end users to develop positive and effective working relationships
\n· Ability to help by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs/applications
\n· Ability to work under pressure and successfully manage multiple, overlapping deadlines
