QUALITY ANALYST I

Job Overview

To ensure consistent product quality by developing, implementing, and maintaining effective quality systems and processes. Quality Engineer supports production by identifying and resolving quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role aims to align quality practices with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal goals for safety, cost-efficiency, and performance.

Requirements Generate containment action reports (3D reports) to address immediate quality concerns. Investigate and analyze customer complaints using root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys and 8D methodology; prepare and submit 8D reports to customers. Maintain and update complaint handling documentation in TECHS (TE Complaint Handling System). Communicate with customers to address and resolve quality concerns; participate in customer visits as needed. Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented on the production line. Coordinate RMA (Return Material Authorization) generation and replacement activities. Lead preparation for customer audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings. Define documentation requirements and develop standard procedures to evaluate product quality and reliability Review and assess the effectiveness of Patrol Inspection, Final Inspection, PDI, and Dock Audit processes; implement corrective and preventive actions to improve quality gates. Collaborate with internal teams (Production, Engineering, etc.) and external partners to ensure in-line quality aligns with SOP and customer expectations. Conduct internal quality audits and track closure of audit observations in a timely manner. Develop and update detailed test procedures and reports to support product validation and inference to the CFT. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex test programs to validate product performance and compliance. Review ongoing test programs and results to confirm product meets reliability and performance standards. Qualification and Experience B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering 4-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance - Mfg Connectors / Cables manufacturing experience is an added advantage. Compensation

Mentors serve as a guide to navigate the organization and provide additional support in their career endeavors at the company. Our program provides a holistic experience for interns that targets professional development and personal growth. 

Our internship program typically runs May thru August and gives students the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to the success of their team and build on their classroom experience. Throughout the 10–12-week program, interns will be provided with:

Timeline
TE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for New Grad (FT), Rotational, Internship and Co-op positions beginning in May. Once you have applied to a position, your resume and application will be reviewed. If you are selected to move to the next step in the application process, you will be contacted by a recruiter. Once you accept an offer, the onboarding process will begin in January for interns who have committed to offers in the fall semester and upon acceptance for interns who have committed to offers in the spring semester.
