Responsibilities

The Summer Employment Opportunity Program (SEOP) provides temporary summer employment opportunities to children, step-children and spouses of Mayo Clinic employees enrolled in a college degree granting program of study, and is intended to help supervisors accommodate employee vacation requests when seasonal work volumes are high. 

The Quality Administrative Assistant will be working alongside our quality specialist team to help scan, organize, and file legacy documentation into our digital file system.  They may engage in other quality-based activities and serve in an assistant capacity for the quality team. Examples may include, scanning, filing, data entry, moving boxes, warehouse clearing, or other activities as assigned by the quality specialist group. 

This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship/ we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.



Qualifications

•   Must be a child, step-child, or spouse of a current Mayo Clinic employee.
•   Must be currently enrolled in a degree granting program.
•   Must be returning to college in the fall.
•   Must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks. 
•   Must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the program

SEOP employees should not expect vacation/days-off to be approved during their commitment.
