**Koniag Emerging Technologies,** a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Qualitative Test and Evaluation (QT&E) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support **KET** and our government customer. This position has a hybrid work schedule each week with two days on-site (Kettering, Ohio facility) and three days of teleworking.This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

We are seeking a Qualitative Test and Evaluation (QT&E) Subject Matter Expert (SME) that will support testing and maintenance of a legacy mainframe system” and “transition to new cloud-based system for the Stock Control System (SCS).
**Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:**
+ Interact with the SCS SME team and the support contractor to assist with the ongoing testing and production support of the SCS, including the JAVA version of the system software to verify that the maintenance and enhancements have been successfully applied to both the mainframe and cloud versions.
+ Coordinate with other members of the SCS SME Team to schedule QT&E testing and documentation of test completion for both the mainframe and cloud environments.
+ Assist in the development of training materials to support the multitude of users of the SCS modules once the newly developed software has been totally delivered to the SCS PMO.
+ Review JAVA, JavaScript, and PYTHON code for software and test peer reviews.
+ Provide and develop SQL for the SCS cloud environment.
+ Use the Agile methodology to perform QT&E Sprints.
+ Participate in cross-training/knowledge transfer with existing team members to attain SME-level competence with SCS.
+ Respond to Program Manager requests for analysis of system transactions and processing rejects.
**Required Skills/Experience:**
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen
+ Associates’ Degree or equivalent experience
+ Successfully complete a T1 Public Trust background check or higher
+ Ability to review and understand application source code written in any of the following – JAVA, JAVA Script, PYTHON, and SQL.
+ Working knowledge of application software testing techniques and test case execution
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with Customers as well as other delivery teams involved in the problem resolution process
+ Ability to drive results in a team-oriented environment
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively
+ Ability to work in a high stress and changing environment
**Preferred Skills/Experience:**
+ Working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence
+ Agile trained and/or certified
+ Experience with Business and Enterprise System (BES) Directorate’s lifecycle management process in an agile environment
+ Working knowledge of USAF Logistics Systems (i.e., Stock Control System (SCS/D035))

+ Effectively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and specialists
+ Work independently to accomplish tasks and lead small teams if required
