Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm (40 hours)\n
A Day in the Life of a QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional):\n
As a QIDP at The Arc Wayne in the Residential program you will develop and coordinate habilitation services for individuals supported. \n\nResponsible for conducting and participating in the individuals initial and semi-annual reviews. Develops and updates individual's habilitation plans.\nAssures provision of quality Residential Habilitation services to individuals in assigned residences. Reviews habilitation documentation and monthly summaries. Assures that all Residential Habilitation, to include documentation, are Medicaid compliant.\nDevelops reviews and evaluates protective oversight plans in conjunction with the treatment team as the QIDP.\nAttends admission\/discharge meetings, intake, management meetings and others as required.\nParticipates in administrative on-call rotation for after hours as needed.\nCompletes 147 paperwork, ensures timely notifications, and submits to Residential Director.\nProvides emergency and first aid treatment until relieved by medical professional or other designated staff.\nAdheres to Agency and Program Policies and Procedures as stated within Arc Wayne Personnel Policies and Procedures, as well as Residential Policies and Procedures.\nCompletes all other duties as assigned.\n\n
Who We Are Looking For: \n\nBachelor's Degree in Human Services or a Bachelor's Degree with training or coursework in Human Services.\nMust have one year experience providing services to persons with developmental disabilities.\nMust complete and maintain certifications as designated by the agency including, but not limited to, SCIP-R, First Aid\/CPR, and Medication Administration.\nMust demonstrate proficiency in providing specialized care based on individual needs (i.e. - use of adaptive equipment, ostomy care, etc.).\n\n
