QHSE Manager
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Manager
Location: Cheltenham (on-site) with UK-wide travel
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 + company car/car allowance
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:30, 1-hour unpaid break)
About the Role
A growing residential property management organisation is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to develop, implement and continuously improve an integrated Quality Management System and Health & Safety framework across its UK portfolio. You will be the go-to expert for all QHSE matters, ensuring compliance with legislation, ISO standards and best practice.
What You’ll Do
Lead Quality InitiativesMaintain and enhance an ISO 9001:2015-certified management systemPlan and run internal/external audits; monitor quality KPIsDrive procedural improvements and documentation controlChampion Health & SafetyDesign and oversee company H&S strategy, policies and toolbox talksPerform site inspections, risk assessments and incident investigationsDeliver training sessions to staff and contractorsManage Compliance & RiskEnsure adherence to HASAWA, CDM Regulations, Fire Safety Order, etc.Oversee contractor RAMS reviews and permit-to-work systemsSupport environmental risk assessments and sustainability initiativesEngage StakeholdersAct as primary QHSE liaison with residents, clients, contractors and regulatorsPrepare and present clear reports to senior leadership and external partners

Who You Are
Experience: Around 5+ years in QHSE roles (Senior Advisor/Manager level) within property, construction or FMQualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate (required); ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and IOSH membership (desirable)Skills:Deep knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and UK H&S legislationProven ability to implement long-term safety, quality and environmental solutionsStrong communicator with excellent leadership and analytical skillsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwideMindset: Proactive collaborator, aligned with values to “Do the right thing, Find a better way, Deliver it”
