Job Description:

Summary

We are seeking a dynamic leader in Quality Excellence with a proven track record of managing major software delivery initiatives. This role is focused on Credit Card delivery and requires a leader who can:

Deliver immediate value by unblocking QE-specific issues and challenges across key delivery initiatives.Lead a mid-size team of QE professionals, including both onshore and offshore resources.Drive the evolution of QE practices, AI tooling, and continuous improvement within a scaled agile environment.Key AccountabilitiesOversee and be accountable for QE activities on major feature deliveries, including impact analysis, test data preparation, stakeholder communication, and execution through deployment verification.Coordinate and proactively plan with internal and external QE partners to ensure seamless planning and delivery.Assess regression testing classes and determine the appropriate level of QE for both internal and partner-driven initiatives.Provide overall QE sign-off for major initiatives.Communicate proactively during feature refinement to highlight items impacting testing or propose alternate MVP approaches as needed.Participate in test case creation and execution to meet timelines; support the creation of reusable test assets for both manual and automated scripts.Report on test planning, execution, and defects using TD-defined metrics.Manage staffing workload and onshore/offshore teams within budget.Build business relationships to enhance knowledge of credit card business capabilities, applications, and technical platforms.Ensure risk management, timely issue escalation, and effective contingency planning.Ensure QE execution does not negatively impact shared environments.Implement and enforce quality and operational management processes.Manage intake and demand, coordinate and optimize resource allocation across work streams.Participate in test artifact audit reviews.Provide coaching, development, succession planning, recruitment, resource management, team leadership, and input into performance and development plans.Measuring SuccessSuccess in this role will be measured by a reduction in QE-related blockers across delivery initiatives.Improvement in test automation coverage and service virtualizationPositive feedback from business and technical stakeholders regarding deployment quality and overall QE team performance.Preferred Qualifications7–10 years of experience in automation frameworks and test design automation.Ideally, experience in the credit card domain covering both customer- and colleague-facing platforms.Demonstrated leadership as an Automation QE Lead in Selenium with Java, with a strong understanding of web services and API concepts.Experience working within a scaled agile environment.Minimum 3 years hands-on experience managing test cycles in HP ALM, JIRA and JTMFExperience with Confluence, JTMF, API, and web-based platform testing.Experience with service virtualization, automation, and adoption of AI tooling to reduce risk and improve QE execution efficiency.Hands-on experience in automation (Selenium, Java, Gherkin, Rest Assured), JTMF, and accessibility testing.Practical experience in continuous testing and CI/CD environments.
