QC Technician
Job Title: QC TechnicianJob Description Under general supervision, the QC Technician is responsible for monitoring product quality through testing and observation. The position involves operation of moderately complex semi-automated equipment. Responsibilities + Monitor product quality through testing and observation. + Prepare reagents for testing. + Perform equipment calibration and pipetting. + Operate moderately complex semi-automated equipment. + Ensure compliance with GMP standards in a medical device environment. Essential Skills + Experience in calibration and quality control processes. + Proficiency in reagent preparation and pipetting. + Understanding of GMP standards and medical device testing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED required. + Zero to two years of relevant work experience. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. + Experience with a ten-key adding machine is preferred. Work Environment The primary work location is in a dedicated facility with occasional work at the Rutherford site. The standard shift is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend shifts as needed. The workplace is focused on delivering diagnostic solutions through advanced lateral-flow, direct fluorescent antibody, and molecular diagnostic tests. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
